My boyfriend and I have been going out for five years now. Every year for his sisters and cousins, he gives them gifts such as wii systems, dvd players, tvs, etc. He makes great money. When it comes to me I get stuff like roller blades, the year before he got a chain necklace from the stand with our names on them. It seems like he holds back money when it comes to me. Should I suck it up? Or confront him or do something? Don’t get me wrong he’s a really sweet guy though

does the blackberry pearl have a strap ring or like a place where you could tie on a charm? Like the sidekicks have?
Thanks

Each crest is mounted on a cross with equal length arms. One shield is divided diagonally from upper left to lower right with blue on top, white on bottom. The blue/white field is overlapped with 5 rows of up pointing arrows seperated by hearts. The shield is surrounded by a red enamel wreath which opens at top, and all of it is mounted on a square set on point of mother of pearl. this sits on the cross of equal arm length, and this is mounted on another diamond shaped metal framework. The other side has another crest. This crest has a more decorative shield shape, is blue enamel and decorated with a Crowned Cross of Lorraine ( in center ), flanked by 2 Fleur de Lis.
The pendant hangs from a heavy and short masculine chain stamped GERMANY on the clasp.
Thanks in advance to anyone that gives this some thought. I don’t know just where to look and have been working away at trying to identify this for a while with no success.
Again, Thank You, Anthony
Hello and Thank You for the information. I have photos that I’d be happy to send. My email is Privy41799@ America on line. Thanks again.

I am wanting to buy one decent handbag.
RRP $150 but it’s on sale for $119.
It’s a quilted barrel handbag, sorry I don’t have a picture of it.
It’s avalible in silver or black.
My everyday outfits consist of:
Blue skinny jeans.
Flats in either: Black, Silver, Gold.
A colorful lace singlett in purple, ink blue, emerald green, grey, black or white.
A long gold heart pendant with diamonds.
Short red nails.
Oversized sunglasses, with gold edges.
A black & white leopard print scarf.
Oversized pearl studs.
I also have my hair dyed black, and it’s about shoulder length.
Which bag would match my style?
The silver or the black?
I’m leaning more towards the silver, as my style is quite quirky.
But would silver be as timeless and versatile as black?

Prologue
The Prescott twins were born A-list it-girls. From the very beginning they had it all. When they were merely five years old they believed in magic. Everyday they went shopping they would see impeccably fashion forward women buying bags filled with Dior, Gucci, Manolo and Louis Vuitton paying with tiny plastic cards.
At the age of seven they had their own magic cards. Tiny platinum credit cards with the word VISA stamped at the very top.
By then they already had been buying small silk clutches or diamond pendants. They would sneak into their mother’s room and drape themselves in pearls and ball gowns. And at the age of ten they had a closet the size of most people’s bedrooms.
But why didn’t their mother notice? Because she herself had grown up the exact same way. An alligator skin bag in one arm and an Am-ex in the other.
Now six years later nothing had changed…
This is just a prologue. I wasn’t going to tell people what my plot was because I didn’t need to I just need help on if this is a good prologue.
I do have a plot in mind but isn’t what the summary on the back of the book is supposed to do??

Posted on 24 February 2010. Tags: from, gift, graduation, misinterpreting, sister, this
I recently became a doctor after the typical uphill battle becoming a doctor entails. I have two sisters, a pair of loving parents, and many friends and family. For my graduation everyone came from all over the country to surprise me with a party and dinner at one of the priciest restaurants in town. They even remembered to bring my bottle of the best champagne in the world that I had been saving for over 5 years since I started school – I earned it waiting tables to put myself through, and I opened it and shared with everyone – it was awesome. I had a truly perfect day, lots of tears of joy, and I was just so happy and overjoyed to see everyone, it made for a joyous memory.
Frankly I was abashed at the gifts I received – my mother and stepdad gave me $1000 AND a pair of huge pearl earrings/necklace. My father gave me a donut-cut black diamond pendant set with a 2 carat white diamond in its center. Grandma gave me $500, which is more than she can afford. I was thinking that taking me out to dinner would be enough, I wasn’t expecting half so much. It meant a lot to me that people thought so much of this accomplishment – I am the first person to become a doctor in my family – but I really did think this was a lot!
My sister, however, got me a necklace and left the price tag on. She’d spent $25 on it at Wal Mart. She never leaves a tag on at Christmas, she’s always quite careful to peel them off. She and I also don’t get along very well. She is also enrolled in a doctoral program and things aren’t going so well, probably because she has two kids she’s trying to raise at the same time, naturally I had it easier because I was child and husbandless throughout.
She has complained many times during my childhood, adolescence and adulthood that I was “the favorite”. We all got a bit tipsy on all the good bubbly at the party, and she brought up how for her 13th birthday she got a party at some lame chain restaurant, and for my 13th I got to go to the symphony or something in NYC. I wonder if this is her big “f*** you” to me, or if she just wasn’t communicating with others, or what? Now, I didn’t expect ANY presents at all, and frankly I like her gift and I am wearing it now, it’s quite pretty, who cares how much it costs, right? I don’t really have such expensive tastes as the gifts I got may imply. It’s the stark contrast between her gift and everyone else’s that gets me – plus leaving the tag on. She’s a subtle, intelligent creature and she does like to make a point. What do you think? Is there something up that I should talk to her about? We love each other – but you know how sibling rivalry can be, maybe I might mention somethiing? But what? I want her to be happy and not dislike me, family is very important to me, since I have no husband or children of my own.

It’s my 1 year anniversary with the gf, and I want to get her this necklace:
Cultured Freshwater Pearl Pendant in 14K White Gold with 1/3 CT. T.W. Enhanced Black and White Diamonds
http://www.zales.com/product/index.jsp?p…
However, I don’t just want to get her an expensive necklace where the parts (the pearl and the diamonds) are not reflective of the price.
So, if you can judge this sort of thing, or give me some pointers on how to, I would appreciate it. Also, if you would like to provide comments on the necklace itself, if it is a good buy or if it is something you could see yourself buying or wearing, that would be helpful as well.
thanks

this one works, hopefully

The holiday’s are just around the corner and I need some ideas on what to order in for our jewelry store for the holiday’s. We usually order in diamond and gemstone jewelry, but considering the recession, we would like some suggestions from the public on what you will be buying this year so we can order accordingly
Thanks in advance!
1. What metals will you be buying? Gold (rose, white or yellow), silver, platinum, or alternative metals?
2. Is there any particular gems you will be looking for? Rubies, emerald, pearls, diamonds, lab grown gems or imiations (CZ’s) ect…
3. What price point will you be looking at? Under $100, $200-$400, $500-$1000, $1000-$2000, $2000 and over
4. Will you be looking for a particular item? Bracelets, earrings, pendants, neclaces ect…
5. Are you looking for any particular style, such as key pendants, black and white diamond jewelry, charms or charm bracelets ect…
Any other suggestions are welcome as well. I really appriciate your time and will choose the answer with the best suggestions for 10pts.

in a few weeks i will be traveling to london and attending a private showing of renoir landscapes. i have been asked to dress in “quasi-formal wear” … i’ve already bought a dress, i could not find a picture of it, so i’m going to describe it:
it’s short, probably hits mid-thigh (a little above my knees). babydoll style, with spaghetti straps. the dress is black, with a thick, off-white silk ribbon in the center of the waist (it’s attached in the front and unnattached at the back, so you have to tie it)
i already have a matching silk shrug and faux pearl earrings and necklace. i will be buying a black clutch soon. however, i have NO IDEA what to do about shoes! i was thinking of something black, heeled, round-toed, probably with a little bow at the front, to continue with the bow theme … but i have no fricken ideaaa! please help me out here
i really, really, really appreciate it.
THANK YOU!

I’m looking to buy a new wardrobe so I need outfit ideas. Please make me an outfit!?!?! =) thanks!!!
I’m 16-17 on next wed. and I love Gossip Girl Blair Waldorf’s style! I love that edgy high fashion prep look.
fav colors- navy, blue, red, pink, purple, emerald green, black, gray, white, cream (silver/gold too)
fav clothing items- blouses/shirts, skinny jeans, flats, headbands, pearl necklaces and bracelets, tights/stockings, miniskirts, minidresses, shorts, thin leather belts
fav designs/fabrics- bows, ribbons, lace, silk, patent leather, plaid, stripes, dark washes for jeans
as for stores, anything high quality is good so department stores are great; urban outfitters, j.crew, gap, etc. are great. i like a&f and ae, but it get’s kinda boring cause everything looks the same. but i don’t like aero, hollister, wet seal, delias, or forever 21 because they don’t appear to have very good quality to me and i want to invest in the items i buy.
links or polyvore please!!!!!!!!!!!!
