“bring in this card and youll receive a free pair of cultured freshwater pearl earrings on 10-k gold posts- $25 retail. no purchase necessary.”
???? scam?

and yes i know this is not health related. but this is one of the only sections that gets answers alot. some have questions hours old.
im looking for the number now. we just got it in mail today, like 10 mins ago!
I LET YA KNOW IF ITS REAL!
most thumbs up will get best answer
oh, helzberg diamonds is the biggest jewelry shop in my area.

i got this too but ended up throwing it away. there aren’t any of those stores by me. you could take a look in the store. if it is a scam you will find out.
Its not a scam but they will try and get you to buy more things
Its real. Just watch out for the brutes
SCAM, TO GET IN YOUR POCKETS!!! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME. NOTHING IN LIFE IS REALLY FREE.
i think its worth a shot
omg my dad got one too! haha. dont believe it, i think it is spam too. haha, we all cracked up.
Remember this– Nothing comes free
Nothing is for free.
If you haven’t already, call them and ask, if you get a verbal acknowledgment than head on down and get em.
Or if that place is ever on your way if you’re running errands, stop in really quick to see.
No one is just giving stuff out. Their probably cheesy and they will probably try to sell you something totally unrelated.
scam aint nothin free
4SHO
They’re just trying to get to you to come in and hopefully buy something of real value.
scam
People never give away things like that. They’ll obviously give you more offers, and in the end, you’ll never get the earrings.
If they DID give away things like that, which I don’t believe, the company will lose many amounts of money.
My opinion? It’s a scam.
Yeah go check it out. Or give them a call. I don’t think the retail for that item will be as high as $25 but free is free.
10K? Worthless just about. doesnt sound like a scam if its gonna be cheap. They just wont you to come to their store is all.
They probably want to sell you something and for your time they will give you cheap jewelry. It’s done all the time. If you think 3-4 hours is worth the earrings then I would do it.
its probably a scam of some kind- i figure if it sounds ot good to be true- then it is. lol.
Of course it’s a scam.
Is it far away?
Oh well – it’s probably a scam. But I’m a sucker for stuff like that; I would probably go, anyway!
Do you like pearls?
nothing in life is free and when it is its only when they have something to gain from it. scam
You most likely have to purchase something else to get the (Free) earings. Once your there they figure most people will fold and buy something.
You probably have to sit through a presentation about something. But depending on if you want to sit there and listen, then go. We got a free 3 night stay at a place on the beach for 3 families, just for sitting and listening to a half hour presentation. But don’t be surprised if they get upset when you decide not to buy into their sales pitch. And don’t be surprised if the jewelry isn’t what you expected.
Helzberg is an extremely good jewelry company. I think if they sent you the coupon, it is definitely not a scam. They will give you the earrings and of course try to show you other things you might be interested in. Get the earrings, say thank you, and leave.
Nothing in life is for free. They will probably put some sort of condition i’m sure of it. it might be for free but then ask you to get a credit card with them. they just want your business.
it could be a scam but i don’t see what they have to gain for getting you to go there
it may be stolen so be careful if you check it out
check out the company to make sure it’s legit
if it’s not a scam, go for it
if it is, you should find out by checking the company out
good luck
Cultured pearls are very inexpensive. Cultured means made in the lab. 10k gold posts are also cheap. I dont know what Helzberg diamonds is (a store in your area perhaps) but it sounds like a gimmick to get you in the door to look at other things. Christmas is comming so they think that maybe you will buy something else while in the store. The earrings are worth a couple of dollars. Go get em, but dont feel obligated to buy anything else.
YES YES YES! It is a cold hard scam-a-roo. Once you reply you’ll probably have to pay a “transaction fee” or “adim fee” or “courier/delivery fee”. It’s simple, if you did not enter a competition, how can you win? If you don’t shop at Helzberg, or didn’t initiate communication with them, how can they send you free pearls. Simple, pimple.
The only investment you have is time. Is the time worth more to you? How do you feel about pearl earrings? They may ask you for name, address, email, phone#, etc. That’s so they can target you for advertising. But, if they advertise “NO strings attached”, then that is what they have to deliver. If not, report them to the BBB and file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. You’ll get earrings, but not without some hassle.
Why not call them and ask the company?
Well it might not be a scam but it’s definitely a marketing ploy they use to get you in the door to sell you other things. If it’s convenient to you to go I would, if not don’t waste your time.
it sounds like it isn’t a scam to me, but just to be safe go to the store and ask to see a manager, then just pull out the card and ask him/her about it. If it is a scam or if it has strings attached you will find out very easily. And if it turns out to be a scam just say “is there a mailing list i can be taken off of then so i don’t get anymore of these”
so, they’ll give you a cheap pair of earrings. it’s just to get you into the store so they can sell you something else. fresh water pearls aren’t anything special on 10K posts. If you want them, say thanks and dont buy anything. price them at other jewelry stores, even TJ Maxx has them cheap, cheap, cheap… but, they may try to collect tax on them.
Yes, It maybe a ID theft scam to get your card number. So be careful
and do a payment by money order checks. If it feels all right in not
being scam into something that you will feel sorry about it.
its worth a shot just think if you didn’t go there and they really gave the earings?
If the jewelry shop is in an abandoned building then yes, but if it’s a reputable seller, then it’s not a scam.
