I have a pearl necklace that is about 100 years old. My great grandmother gave me it when I was young, she got it when she was a child from her Father’s lady friend. It’s got about 112 pearls on it ranging from small, medium and medium large. They are a light pink and every single one is real. I have been using sharp objects to scrape the calcium carbonate of the mother of pearl shell to get the shiny part and it’s tiring. It’ll take forvever to do the whole thing. I want to be a flapper for Halloween this year and was wondering if anyone has found a good place to buy a long flapper-type pearl or faux-pearl necklace that you can knot on the bottom?

I just saw 2 of these paintings of ships, (ships look like old chinese sail ships) with castle that has spanish tiles on roof, and another with boats and lighthouse and storm.
The mother of pearl added in the painting is really nice.
